Many of us find that our daily motion is limited by our workspace, whether we're tied to our computers, or too busy to venture out for periodic walks. The Level allows you to engage in natural movement at your standing desk while remaining focused on the task at hand.

We've been in motion since January 2015, garnering feedback from trusted industry experts in the shop, studio, and various work environments. The results have been confirmed via third-party testing, conducted over two separate phases of our development process by the Heeluxe Lab in California. Our U.S. Patent-Pending technology allows for optimal amounts of 3D motion in the sagittal, transverse, and coronal planes. In simpler terms, the amount of lower leg motion provided by the Level is similar to what you would experience while walking.

Naturally Sourced

We've gone the extra mile to use eco-conscious materials in our fabrication process. Our Original Handmade Level's top deck is made of bamboo, one of the world's most abundant and renewable resources; our finish is GREENGUARD certified to meet rigorous standards for low emissions; our sand-cast bases are produced by hand in a zero-waste process; and our die-cast bases are created in a zero-waste process in a solar-powered facility. We've also chosen to finish our bases via powder-coating, as it has almost zero emissions compared to painting and anodizing. It's all part of our bigger mission to be responsible borrowers from Mother Earth, for team members and customers alike.

It's likely a combination of standing, sitting, and flowing that will change your perspective. When you're tied down with responsibilities, we want to provide you with the option of movement.

Bringing It Home

We've made every effort to develop our products in our home state of California, from using testing facilities in Santa Barbara to processing and tooling at a foundry in San Francisco. Beyond producing 90% of our initial products within the U.S., FluidStance is donating to worthy causes on the local front. We've committed 1% of sales, 1% of company equity, and 1% of employees' time to First Descents, an organization dedicated to providing free adventure experiences to young adults with cancer.
